Coral Striped Nail Tutorial

I've got another super easy nail tutorial for you all.  This one is for Coral Striped nails! Obviously I have a thing for coral (as seen here) so this time I decided to switch it up and go for a striped look.

And here are my colors of choice.

To get the look, I started with clean, dry nails.  Then I painted on 2 coats of Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro in Pink Bliss (you can read more about where I found this color here ).

Once my nails were dry I used the Sinful Colors Nail Art in Sunny Day and painted thin lines.  I started in the center of my nails and placed the brush at the bottom of my nails (down towards my cuticle) then lightly dragged the brush up towards to the tip of my nail.  Then I repeated this step on each side.

Since I'm right handed painting the stripes on my left hand was easy.  However the lines on my right hand didn't turn out as neatly as I would have hoped. Oh well, hopefully no one noticed!

So there you have it.  Another super simple but still stylish mani! Have you tried the striped look before?  Did you use something similar to the Sinful Colors Nail Art to get the look or did you try something else? I'd love to know!

  1. So gorgeous! I love this! You have a very steady hand!

  2. What a fun mani, I love the bright colours!

  3. You always have the cutest nails! I need to start some designes.

  4. Thank you so much! I'm definitely a fan of the bright colors and I think I have at least 5 different shades of coral nail polish, LOL. Might have to switch up the colors next time but the striped look was pretty fun :)

  5. Aloha from Maui and thanks so much for linking up with Mani Monday!
